Facts

Shakespeare made up the name “Jessica” for his play Merchant of Venice.
Shakespeare probably based it on the biblical name ISCAH, which would have been spelled Jescha in his time.

Moving two forums into one is very easy but fiddly.

1) You can only do this if you don't have any sub-forum links under the parent forum description.  So first of all check - Display - Structure and Hierarchy -  Sub-level links on index - NO.

2)  You will need two images of about 50px x 50px each to represent the two forums.

Step 1

1)  Go to Forums and Category settings and click to create a new category - Giving it the name you want the category to be called.

2)  Click yes to add a forum to this category.

Step 2

1)  When the page pops up to create the forum give it any name (New Forum, Test Forum, or whatever) - This is only so you will recognise it in the settings for the moment -you will be changing this at the end.

2)  Add the following code to the "Description" box - adding your image urls and the links into each of the two forums that you want to add.

Note:  I would advise you keep the forum descriptions down to a minimum as it will make the box deeper the more you add.

Code:
<table cellpadding="5" cellspacing="5" border="0" style="width: 100%;" _moz_resizing="true">

 <tbody>

 <tr>
 <td style="width:31PX;”>

 <img src=“IMAGE URL FOR FIRST FORUM“ />
 </td>
 <td style="width: 50%;">
 <a href=“FORUM URL”><strong>FORUM NAME</strong></a><br />
 FORUM DESCRIPTION
 </td>
<td style="width:31PX;”>
<img src=“IMAGE URL FOR SECOND FORUM“ />

 <td style="width: 50%;">
 <a href=“FORUM URL”><strong>FORUM NAME</strong></a><br />
 FORUM DESCRIPTION
 </td>
 </tr>
 </tbody>
 </table>

If you then click the html button you will see what your table will look like - Ignore that it has borders in this view.

You can then save.

3)  In the permissions of that forum make sure you are in extended view - untick everything, except the "View the Forum".

Save again.

Step 3

Now move your two forums into the new forum as subforums.

Step 4

Go back to the settings of the new forum and change the title to

Code:
&nbsp;

This will make the forum title invisible on the front page.

All done!

If you want 4, 6, 8 forums in one just keep repeating steps 2 through 4 adding each "New Forum" to the category.
