Shakespeare made up the name “Jessica” for his play Merchant of Venice.
Shakespeare probably based it on the biblical name ISCAH, which would have been spelled Jescha in his time.

We managed to get a dry day yesterday.  That was our 2nd in a row.  Just looked out of the window before I open the curtains and see that already it looks like it's gonna rain today.

We have a couple of street markets a week, both within a bus ride from me.  One is in the nearest town one side of me, on a Monday and the other is in the other direction on a Wednesday.  It does depend on the weather though as to whether they will be good each time.  Most stalls are owned by local shops anyway so it it's crappy weather they don't bother to send a member of staff to set up a stall.  The same people that do the Monday market also do the Wednesday market.

I hope you didn't suffer too much leaving the house yesterday Becks.

Sarah and Aimee popped in for an hour yesterday.  I thought when I saw them that they had come to visit but they had come to look through my photos.  It's my ex-hubby's 70th birthday next week and his present wife is organising a party, and seemingly needs some old photos of Bill when he was younger for something she is doing.

I gave Bill all the photos he wanted to take when we split up so he has the ones of him and his family, and of course Sarah didn't want ones that had me in them also.  So there was only a few that I had of him without me.

Louie was so excited to see Sarah and Aimee, and when we went out to the car to see them off he wanted to go with them.  They took him back for the night with them and Sarah is bringing him home  on her way to work this afternoon.

Today is the first day that I don't have any form of unpacking or organising to do, apart from hang a couple of pictures (if I feel like it), so I am going to do sod all.  This is really going to be a rest day for me.

Same here with the street markets. They can be really good when there's a good turn out but sometimes they're a bit of a damp squib.

Awww Louie must have wondered why they'd disappeared. I'm sure he'll adapt soon enough though.

I enjoyed my lazy weekend but it's back to housework and stuff this morning. Lunch with the gang later though so that will make a nice break. I'll have to get my sis to cut and colour my hair soon. Maybe next week then it will still look OK for my holiday.

Hope your lunch was enjoyable Wendy.  I'm going to get a take away meal from our dining hall today.

Yeah, best to leave the hair until quite near the date.

Sarah rang me early yesterday to ask if they could keep Louie for one more day, bringing him back this morning.  I had no problem with that, although it has been strange without him.  Getting a whole day without having to take him out for walks was rather nice though.

All my unpacking was finally done so I really did have a whole day of rest.  The most I did was walk the few steps into the next block to have a cup of tea and a yack with my neighbour/friend Brenda.

Charlie came in to see how the leak was drying out, (still a long way to go) and he put a curtain rod up and some nets for me to separate the bedroom area from the living area.  Not sure I like the nets though.  Thinking of maybe some nice curtaining material instead.  I don't want it to be too heavy though.

Sarah bought me a massive Indian type cotton throw a couple of years ago when she was on holiday abroad somewhere.  I love it, and could use that but it's not the right colour to match what I have.

I've just had an early walk to the chemist to arrange for my meds to be sent to the one nearest me now that I have moved - exactly as the Doctor's receptionist told me to.  I get there and the chemist tells me I need to order the meds through the Doctor's by giving them the chemists code.  I tell you, these people don't know their bloody right from their left sometimes.

It's about to absolutely pee down today.  The only reason the rain is holding off is because the clouds are moving too fast across the sky.

Three months running my niece has had to get emergency prescriptions for her epilepsy meds because they haven't been sent to the chemist on time. It's getting farcical. My sister ordered hers and my niece's at the same time and each time my sister's have got there but her daughter's haven't. I swear they employ complete morons these days.

We had a mix of sun and heavy showers yesterday but so far it's dry today. No sun though. I nipped up to the local shop earlier and now I'm skiving housework for a while. Visiting my brother later but that's about all today.

It is comfortably cooled in my apartment today, have turned the fans on at  830 am before the place gets heated up from the sun, got all the drapes closed  too,  outside it's hot and humid , but not drastic right now ,  smokey skies   are prevailing ..

I do have to go out for shopping trip, with my cart , walking is good for us , sitting here is not so good for the body .

sounds confusing about the prescriptions ,  I must ask about this here , what is the proper procedure , good info to know . I am not on anything  heavy duty so far ,  I avoid drugs if I can , but  one never knows

I made an error about the street market , it's not till tomorrow .. headbang , better read the signs properly next time ... lol .

OK, got to run ,  off to find the wizard .

Hi everyone.

Geru,
Hope you find some delicious fruits and veggies
at the street market.
I am always on the lookout for some big juicy tomatoes
at the farmer's market where I live and the ones
in the cities close to me.

Wendy,
Regarding your niece not getting her prescriptions,
is it because the doctor is not sending them over
or that the pharmacies have problems?
A computer/system problem between the doctors and pharmacies?
How upsetting that she cannot get her seizure medicine
without having to make a fuss.
And as we Americans say,
"What the hell is going on!"  :0)

Sandy,
Sounds like you are all settled in.
A nice curtain made our of some pretty material
might be more suited to what you are looking for.
But you can take your time and look for
some material you really like
to separate the sleeping area.

Hope everyone has a great rest of your day!

Do you allow tags?  I haven't seen any come to think of it.
I didn't get read everything really close.  The gran-girls are here now.  I must get them showered into bed.  Early day tomorrow, our last Traveling Wednesday and its an hours drive.  Its a complex full of mini golf, mini bowling, bumper cars, and the kids casino of course, LOL  Just like a casino.
Anyway, hubby added some plugs for me in the basement and now I have my own little place for crafts all done.  I spend my days down there.
I ordered some glitter online and it comes in bags, so I sent out a letter to my kids and a couple of friends, to see who had a spice rack they were going to throw away.  You know do many people buy them and find they don't use them enough.  So far out of the 5 emails I sent, I have 2 sets.  I sincerely hope no one else comes up with one.  The one my daughter sent over tonight was perfect.  I can't wait to fill the jars, it has a perfect holder too.

Sounds like the moving went OK Sandy.  And Kerri, your husband had some heal surgery??  Did he injure it?    Geru, it has gotten cooler here too this week.  We took the girls to the Zoo the last Wednesday since it was cooler. Last year we went and I swear it was 100`.  They have these misters that they spray water threw a fan and it cools you off.  Even the baby was going ahhhhh, when she got in one.   She didn't go with us this year, so hopefully next year she will.   Hopefully we will have a bigger car.
Speaking of cars, my BFF was driving home, right here i town and a guy missed the stop sign and hit her so hard, all of her air bags came out,  it totaled her 9 month old car.  The deadhead tried to leave, his car wouldn't start, so he got out if and ran.   He left his expired drivers license on the seat, he was wanted for an outstanding warrant and he had drugs in the car.  They found him hiding in a shed...geezzz well obviously not the brightest bulb on the string.  Oh he had his girlfriends car, which she had insurance but all she has to say is he took it without her knowledge.   They asked for my BFF medical records from the hospital.  Since she had injuries and he ran they can also sock him with a felony.   He did run up to her car and ask her if she was OK< she thinks it was him, but she was still getting her witts about her.   She had a Yeti full of cola and it went everywhere she said.   Too scary.

Several years ago my daughter rolled her car going to work one morning on ice, and ended upside down, she had her seat belt on, so that saved her.  She had to undo her seat belt and fall to the roof and climb out.  It was very cold and icy, a truck stopped and kept her in his truck until the ambulance came.  Very scary for me that day as well.  But she called me herself.

Well there must be more pleasant things to chat about but I need to go and get these girls into the shower.  Be nice if they would come over showered in their PJs. but noooooo, not my daughter.  OH well..
Take care.

PostSubject: Re: August Yacking   09/08/17, 07:43 am

At one point my meds were coming in late each month and one pill I never want to run out of is my Bisoprolol.  Don't care about the others, but that one is important not to miss.  The chemist would lend me a weeks worth but then that would be paid back with my next script.  So I took to ordering my pills 2 days earlier each month from the previous month until I now have 2 - 3 weeks extra supply stored in case the order ever comes in late again.

I'm up really early this morning and so not sure yet what the weather is going to be like.  I've just taken Louie out for his ablutions and it's dry and not at all windy but the sky is a bit grey, so just gonna wait and see what happens in the next hour or two.

I want to start doing my creative bits again now that I'm back in my own place.  Not that I do much by way of creativity.  A bit of knitting, dressmaking and also play with making bits for Filofaxes which involves using my laminator somewhat.

Very clever to put the word out that you want some spice racks to store the glitter in Tara.

I quite like visiting Zoos.  We had a great couple of Zoos in the county I used to live in.  Living here though we are not far from the famous Monkey World rescue zoo.  Monkeys are my least favourite animals but it still makes for a great day out to see what wonderful lives those monkeys now have that have been rescued from horrific lives from all over the world.

That car crash of your friend Tara sounds terrifying.  This is the problem with car travel.  You can be the most perfect driver but if some idiot comes out of nowhere you don't stand a chance.

You Americans use a lot of acronyms and I had to look up BFF as I hadn't come across that one before.  To shorten that we would say "My Bezzie" as in my Best Mate or Best Friend.

Now I am properly settled I have no excuse not to do real housework.  So I have to do some washing today and also clean my bathroom.

Sarah brough Louie back yesterday morning and he seems a lot more settled here now after being with all of them again for 2 days.  The new neighbours are making big fusses of him and say what a gorgeous dog he is.

I bought a baby gate to go across the outside of my front door to stop him dashing out into the hallways to welcome all and sundry as I open my door to people and to stop him having a go at the dog next door that is allowed to run loose.  It's surprising how nice people are to your dog if they can see that you are a thoughtful owner.

I've had 3 different neighbours warn me how much of a pain the old boy is next door to me because of how he never has his dog on a lead and how he never picks up his dogs mess.  I had noticed what a pain in the arse the bloke is.

He leaves his own front door open all day and his dog just wanders around as and where it feels like it.  It's a very old dog and completely harmless but needless to say it shouldn't be wandering around as it is allowed to do.  On top of that the sod props open the front security door for any and all to wander in all day.  Seemingly the neighbours all loath him.

I was also told about a woman on the next floor up and how she has complained so many times about various people in the block.  Seems she is forever knocking on people's doors telling them their tele is too loud, or complaining about them flushing the toilet at night, or talking on the landings and so on.  She doesn't only complain to the neighbour but she is also constantly on the phone to the office complaining.  So much so that a seemingly a memo was sent round from the office asking everyone not to flush their toilet during the night.

I was actually pleased to hear this because the first night I moved in, when I had no carpet and none of my boxes here, and on top of that a gap under my front door of about 2 inches, I was on Skype to Martha and that self same woman came down and complained I was speaking too loud.   I appologised and lowered my voice.  It was very late and I was talking loudly after all.

The next morning I went up, found her, and apologised again and explained why it was that my voice was carrying through the hallways and that unfortunately she would hear me quite a lot until my carpet would be laid on the Wednesday and all my stuff was in.  I didn't want to start off having upset someone.

But on hearing from others about her doing the self same thing to many of the neighbours, now that changes everything.  Of course living in places like this you can hear water running, people toing and froing on the landings, and because there are many deaf people you can often here the drone of someone's tele.  When someone has visitors you can hear laughter and chatter a bit louder than usual, especially during the summer months when people have their windows open.  These are background noises that one expects to live with when living in flats.  But we all have to live with each other, and there are times when we can hear odd noises louder than other times.  But for crying out loud unless it's a continual, unreasonable noise, day after day or night after night, you just ignore it.

I am really surprised actually, because living on the ground floor right next to the lift and the front door I fully expected I would hear a lot more noise of people coming and going.  I never hear the lift, and I very seldom hear people coming in and out of the front security door.  The only time I know someone is using the front door is if I am sitting at my table in the window and I see them come in and out.

I occasionally hear the woman on the other side of me, where we share a party wall, flush her toilet, and I do hear the postman running up and down the stairs when he makes a delivery.  He is very heavy footed.  A couple of times I have heard people yacking as they pass my window.  But who cares.

I'm far less polite than you Sandy. I'd have told her to get over it or wear earplugs. lol Sounds like she just likes to complain for the sake of it.

I don't know where the problem is arising Kerri. Each time it's supposedly been sent but not received by the pharmacy. Odd how they receive my sister's ordered at the same time though. My niece has the same problem with the emergency supply Sandy. Only seven days and when it keeps happening that's not enough. She's going to try and get the doctor to give her extra so she's never in danger of running out.

Temps climbing again , humidity sitting at 70%, and no end to the dry spell  Evil or Very Mad
I am heading out to

the street market today , dying for some farm fresh vegetable , and some home made  dark rye bread , there is usually a long line up for this . Everyone then buys butter of course to eat with it ... or liverwurst .
==========================================

Tara: good to hear from you , enjoy your spice rack filled with glitter .. and your own little hobby place now , how nice for you  . All though you sure don't have much time for it, those young ones keep you busy . Sounds like a fun day coming up  , lucky Grandchildren .    What a horror storey about your BFF, and the accident , hope she will be OK    ,
----------------------------------------------

Sandy:  I just chuckle  ..... the life in Apartment  buildings ( or flats as you say )    I could write a book  .People are just so self centred , they live there alone did you not know that ?      Shocked  lol!

they should all realize this , and act accordingly :
The majority of Apartment buildings should be called cardboard boxes > the insulation plainly stinks ,  the walls are paper thin  ,you can hear everything  , it makes me sick !!!!
the gaps under the doors are way to large , floor insulation is even worse .   And to top it all off , the tenant all pay high rent , and have to put up with everyone's inconsiderate   behaviour .
the real problem is a landlord who bought & owns the cheaply built building ,
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Kerri:   tells us how your husband is doing , feeling better now  ?
------------------------------------------

Whisper :  I have never heard of a computer system between doctors and pharmacies , but then I live in another Country  . Here all Pharmacies are connected I believe  , but not the doctors  , hope she gets all fixed up, as she can't run out .
-----------------------------------------
I am off to find the wizard

GERU the doctors write the prescriptions and their receptionists send them to the pharmacies where we then collect the meds from. That's the theory anyway.

Finally a sunny day (well sunny spells and dry) and supposed to reach 63F. I've hung bedding out for the first time in ages. Wheely is out ready for collection, I've done some ironing and a few other chores so I'm goofing off online for a while and running some scans at the same time.

Thank goodness Geru we only get the odd one or two awkward buggers in each block.  The majority of people living here are lovely.

I love that image in your last post.

As Wendy says, it's a lovely sunny day at the moment here in the UK but we never trust it to last the whole day.

Louie and I have just got back from a short walk.  I thought I'd get it over early just in case the weather changes and before I collect my lunch from the dining hall.

Charlie popped in this morning again to check on the drying of the damp and he put the cupboard back together inside but we decided to leave the bottom off to keep a good air flow.

He has also offered to put my television on the wall as soon as I get Sarah to drop the bracket over that I bought for the same job in my old flat.  I totally forgot that I had that sitting in her garage when I moved, and I had never got around to getting it installed in the last flat, so it's still in it's sealed packaging.

Good Morning,

Yesterday was the last day of us having the two oldest girls.  Next Wednesday they will be in school.  At dinner last night the oldest one B, started getting really quiet. When we stopped here at our house to pick up their clothes she got even quieter.  I asked her if she felt OK, she said she was just tired.  Po-Po said it was time to leave for their home, she gave me a big hug and then she went to the kitchen, turned around came back. She was trying not to cry, she said, "So when am I going to see you again?"   I couldn't quit thinking about her all night.   We try to see them once or twice a week when in school, but she forgot I guess.  But I felt sorry for her.

We took them to a new place yesterday.  They had bumper cars, go-carts, arcade games, Lazer tag, mini golf in black lighted area.  We thought $50 per each kid would take care of them. LOL  Well close, more like $75 per kid.  Then we took them to Red Lobster.  The oldest does not like seafood, but the youngest one wanted the lobster tail on the kids menu.   I added crab legs to my dinner for her.  She ate her crab legs, her lobster tail, some of our shrimp.  Too cute.  The oldest one ate macaroni and cheese, broccoli, and Po-Po's dinner came with a dessert so the girls split it. Warm brownie and ice cream.  It smelled so good.   So it was an expensive day but we talked about taking them overnight somewhere this summer and we didn't do it, and it was the "last hurrah".
I always hated when my kids had to go back to school, well until they were older. Then it good! LOL

We don't call out Pharmacist Chemist, but that's neat.   Our Drs. here have a special phone number to call the pharmacies, well they use to, now they send in the scripts via computer.  There was a deal where people were stealing the script pads and writing their own scripts.. LOL Far back as I can remember docs left the script pads on the desk all the time, until "my" generation started stealing them for drugs.  Good grief.  Do your countries have a lot of drug problems?  Kids here who couldn't even pass 8th grade math have whole meth labs set up...what in the world?  I don't know where society went wrong but it's a major problem here.  I get worried about taking an extra Tylenol with the meds my Dr prescribes and they are mixing crap!

Anyway, today I am going to take that spice rack and fill it with my glitters.  I swear I have just as much fun organizing my craft place as I do making anything.. LOL  Too bad I'm not into that for my kitchen.

So that is my day...playing with glitter.  Maybe make another glitter cup or I might try painting it.  I didn't take pictures of my cups, I have small video of them but can we put video in here?   I am just learning how to decorate cups.  But it's fun.  I have only did glitter so far, the paint thing is new.   We shall see how it goes.

The weather has been a lot cooler lately, high 80's at the most.  Last week it was 100F+  Whew..that is hot!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Like you Tara my two GDs saw me virtually every day.  I would be taking them to and fro school, taking them across the country to visit and stay with family when I went.  We also never lived far apart but always within walking distance of each other.  When Sarah (daughter) left her first husband they all lived with me for a couple of years and so on.

I feel so sorry for Grandparents that can only see their Grandchildren on rare occasions or those that are living in different countries from them.

My youngest can't stand any sort of food that comes out of the sea either.  Even the smell of it makes her feel ill.

We have drug problems in many parts of the country too and it seems to be getting worse.  I personally think the police are going about it arse about face.  They let all the small criminals get away with it in order to trace back to the big ones.  I think if they came down hard on the small ones, that would eventually dry up the big ones.

I've just clicked to order a slim tall unit to put in my kitchen to become part of the storage.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't block the door too much.  It should only take up the same space as my rubbish bin is taking up at the moment and will be in the place where that is at the moment.  My friend Brenda in the next block has something similar in her kitchen in the same place and it looks ok so hopefully it will be ok in mine.

Clouds seem to be coming over a bit dark so I'm off now to take Louie for a short walk in case it rains.

I am  confused Sandy ... do you live in some sort of place where they provide meals ??   I am referring to the part marked in blue

Quick drop in again here .

Tara;  So good to hear from you again , and no wonder your Grands get sad when its time to leave for a bit ... you show them such a great time ... wow  ,   they are lucky children ,all that fun , and  lobster yet ...yummy .  My Grands are all grown up with children of their own , and all live far far away .    We have regular family feuds going on , so I never mention them , to personal and upsetting  for me .
And we here don't call the Pharmacist ... Chemist either   ,  every country is different
and prescriptions here , are given out to the patient ,on paper  The patient has their choice of Pharmacies where they want to get it filled ... BUT.... the Pharmacies are all supposed to be connected by internet  , to check on things . Every Pharmacy is supposed to know what meds you are on   , because of interactions , etc etc etc etc .
Drug problems are going on here too, all the time , scary stuff the kids  make now days  ... unbelievable to me  .

Sandy: well , the cops have a big big job , the pushers are the rotters , big business, but .... there is a lot more involved   . This is the Internet !!!!!!!!!!!! pale

Yes and no.  On site there is a small separate building that has a very large kitchen, a bit like a small school would have, and the main room is set up as a dining room.

That building is used for all sorts of things by, let's call them outsiders.  Meaning they are organisations that are not connected to the Housing Society that own the complex, but  use both the manor house and the building we call the dining room on an hourly basis.

3 times a week, Tues, Thurs and Fri, a private catering firm come in and cook meals, which we, that live on the complex use, along with anyone over 60 that live in the immediate area.

Because they are providing a service for the over 60s living on site, the Housing Society don't charge them to use it.  We are charged £3.50 for a 2 course meal.  We can book a regular table for any or all of those days or we can take a meal away.  If you want to eat in, you have to put your name down for a regular table, you can't just turn up and sit down.  Even as a take away you have to be a booked in member.

For instance, just before I moved in I went in and told them that as from the 1st of August I would be wanting meals 3 times a week (sometimes only 2 if I happened to not be around on a specific day).  As a take away I have to collect between 12 and 12.30pm as they start serving the sit down meals at 12.30pm.  Basically they need to know how many meals they have to cook each day.

When that room is not being used as a dining room it is used for other things.  For instance, once a week a Doctor from the local surgery holds a surgery.  Yearly flu jabs are given there if you don't want to go to your own Doctor.  A Sunday Church service and bible reading is held Sunday mornings and so on.

There is another room in that building that groups like Rainbows are held.  That's a group like guide or scouts for the very little ones.

I don't know all that goes on in there as I haven't bothered to ever find out.  But basically the society allow it to be used for anything that benefits our complex and the immediate area.

Then we have the old Manor House.  This was a complete wreck when the society bought the land, and they wanted to pull it down as part of the flat building complex, but a preservation order was put on it.  So instead of pulling it down, the local Community Association rebuilt and renovated it with donations and fund raising.

That is used now for entertainment by the local Community Association as well as the residents setting up activities.

Dancing, card evenings, organising ramblings and such from there, Coffee Mornings. Bingo, Cinema once a week, Arts and Crafts, Music Evenings and goodness knows what else, including a room for selling second hand clothes, a room as a library with donated books and so on.  Coach trips and 3 or 4 day holidays are also organised from there.

All that is for the over 60s and you have to be a member there, which costs £3.50 a year.  It's all run by volunteers.

I will try to do a video of it next time I go to collect a meal if I remember.

It's a great arrangement that seems to work well for all concerned and those meals are great value. Nice to get one a few times a week you don't have to cook yourself. A good place to meet locals too if you book sit down meals regularly.

Weather hasn't made its mind up yet. It started out sunny but big black clouds are looming now.

I'm just catching up on chores today. My daughter is visiting tomorrow. She was arriving about 11 but is now showing up around 8.30 so I'm a bit miffed. I was planning a lie in but that's out the window now. She'll be lucky if I'm even showered and dressed. lol

The whole set up here is great.  I honestly can't think of anything that could be done more or better.  I consider myself really lucky to have one of these flats.

I think I have finally sorted out my meds.  I rang the previous chemist and they have them for this month so they are going to deliver them to me here on Monday to save me a bus ride over there.  Well, that's what they say.  Something can still go wrong with them trying to deliver them to the old address on Monday instead.  And of course if none of my girls are in then there will be no one to receive them.  So fingers crossed on that one.

As I also don't trust the Doctor to send them to the right chemist next month I have also asked for my repeat prescription to be put in with my meds for Monday and I will then take that to the new chemist between now and when my meds are due again.  Hopefully with them having my repeat script and the Doctor having my new address along with the address of my new chemist it should all be sorted for next months script with no mistakes.  We can only hope.

Looks like it's going to be a very dull day today with possibly some rain so Louie's and my walk is going to be more of a routine walk rather than a very enjoyable one.

My new unit was delivered last evening and I was going to set to today and put it all together myself as it's a cheap flat pack.  But after opening the box and sorting out the pieces I think I will leave it to Charlie to do for me.  I really can't face trying to do it myself as I just don't have the strength anymore for things like that.  Nor the inclination either really.

I really feel like having another easy day reading and watching a couple of films.  The trouble is I then feel that I am wasting a day when I should/could be doing something more active.  Life is passing by so quickly I feel that it shouldn't be wasted lounging around.

Haven't watched your tour of the flat video yet Sandy but will ones I feel chirpier.
Just taken something for the muscle/nerve pain so going to lay down and have a snooze and fingers crossed that is enough to keep this pain away for a while!

We had a drastic change in temperature yesterday  had to wear a valour jacket to go for my walk to the village . And we finally did get a bit of  very light rain last evening for a couple of hrs , not enough to put in your hat , but surely better then nothing . Surprised  We need lots and lots more, to help with the fires . I read last evening , that 365 fires in Bc were caused by humans and not the weather  , flicking cigarette buds is a bad habits lots of people have .... how  careless .

One person was caught doing it , and someone  picked up the bud and threw  it back at her , then she promptly ran and got her friend  to beat up this guy who threw her bud back at her , and believe it or not .... the guy died from the beatings ... Mad oh dear .

Today I am getting company for supper , so I must get busy with the meal etc   , not often I invite someone ,getting lazy in my old age ....

Sandy: interesting write up about how the place works ,  handy for you and many others !!   and do hope the meds problem will all work out OK for you now .

I put together my dining area buffet and hutch, ( but got help with hanging the doors ) and my hexagon shaped TV stand ,about 11 years ago , what a job it was ... oh boy oh boy , could not do it now  .  You are lucky to be able to get  Charlie to help you with setting up the Unit .

I am off to  get busy .

I'm taking a break from cleaning upstairs. Still got the stairs to vac and the bathroom to clean. No family lunch today. My sister has to work but she's coming over tomorrow instead to cut and colour my hair for me which she was going to do today. It means I have an unexpected free afternoon. I shall probably just fritter it away playing online.

More visitors on Friday. Well the same ones plus my grandson and his girlfriend. I haven't met her yet so that should be interesting. He'll be 18 next month. I'm getting very old!
