Son in Coma Doesn't Know Dad Died. When Mom Asks 'Do You Know Where Daddy is?" - His Response Shook Her to Her Core!

In the summer of 1997, Julie Kemp, her husband, Andy, and their 8-year-old son, Landon, were heading home from church one day when an ambulance returning back to its station crashed into their car at an intersection.

"I didn't see what he was yelling at. I didn't see the ambulance coming, but I remembered him yelling." Julie said about her husband. "That was the last thing I heard from him." Andy died instantly.

The paramedics were able to stabilize Julie, but they didn't realize that there was another passenger in the car. Landon was sitting behind the driver's seat and that is where the collision occurred.

"They couldn't see his body because of the damage that was done to the driver's side of the car and Landon was sitting behind his dad." Julie said. Thankfully, the paramedics found his shoe which prompted a more thorough search for his body. They were eventually able to retrieve Landon's body, but to his mother's horror, he was limp and not breathing.

Landon was resuscitated and life flighted to Carolinas Medical Center in North Carolina, but his fight was far from over. He died two more times that day. The doctors told Julie that the likelihood of him surviving was extremely low. Even if he did, he would have had the mind of an 8-year-old baby who would be unable to walk, talk or eat due to the severe brain damage that occurred.

“I was so desperate that, that was okay. I would take that just to have him. He was all that I had,” said Julie.

At her husband's funeral, Julie felt so alone, broken, and abandoned by God.

“I was very disappointed. Heartbroken,” she said. “And while I’m sitting at the funeral, I’m fussing at God. I don’t understand why this happened. I don’t understand why he didn’t send angels to protect us, but in the very next breath I’m praying as hard to him as I’ve ever prayed in my life for Landon to live.”

Landon had suffered massive head trauma and was hooked up to all kinds of machines, all while still in a coma. Julie says that there were no signs of anything and they saw nothing good or bad happening to Landon. She just kept praying for her son to live.

Two weeks later, Landon woke up from the coma and opened his eyes. To the doctors' disbelief, Landon suffered no brain damage. It was a miracle!

Julie was overjoyed! But she knew she still had to tell Landon about the horrific news about his dad. "He had scars on his face and his head was full of hurt and I didn't want to hurt him anymore," Julie said.

Julie asked Landon, "Do you know where your dad is at?"

Landon's reply shocked his mom! "Yes, I know where he's at. I saw him in Heaven."

When Landon died the third time throughout all this, he came face-to-face with Jesus. “Jesus came to me and told me that I have to go back to earth and be a good Christian and tell others about him,” he said.

Landon is now fully grown and in the interview below, Landon discloses more about what Heaven was like, who he met, and his conversation with Jesus.

“I know I’m doing it for Jesus. I know that he’s real,” said Landon. “I know that angels are there. I know that there’s a Heaven. I’m not doing it for someone I don’t know or that I’ve never seen. I’ve seen Jesus. I know he’s there. He’s asked me to do this and this is what I’m doing.”

It certainly gives food for thought I think.

I personally do, very strongly believe in life after death, but I don't believe that we instantly go to the "Heaven" we are meant to believe in.

I do believe though in an eventual Heaven.  A final home on our spiritual journey.

I believe in the body dying but the spirit moving on to another place where to us there it's just as physical as the plane we are living in now.  I've had far too much proof of an after life not to believe in this.

I simply can't believe in the Catholic version that we die and then sleep until judgement day.  That to me simply doesn't make sense.

The thing is, that God/Jesus makes in perfectly clear in the Bible that our sinful physical bodies are not the true us, but that our pure spiritual bodies are the real us.

Why on earth would our real selves (spirit selves) be put into a coma for hundreds/thousands of years until we are judged one way or another.

It makes far more sense to continue living and learning as our spiritual selves until the day comes to be allowed into the final Heaven don't you think?

Also the Bible tells us two things.  That on the day of Jesus coming we will be given new physical bodies and also that Heaven will be brought to earth, so we are obviously promised continual life.

So I do believe in the majority of the death experiences that people have had.   You could call them small miracles and them being God's way of proving His existance.  Because if He didn't exist, being the ultimate spirit, how could we also have a spiritual body.

I also believe in life after death Sandy.

We don't go instantly to "heaven" no and some spirits "stray" longer then others. I was told by a reputable Psychic that the ascension is different for different spirits; all depending on how they respond to the fact that they have left their body.

Just the word "judgement day" gives me the shivers!

I usually try to avoid the word "judgement" as I don't really see it as a Day of Judgement, but more like a time of choosing and I also don't personally at this time believe it will be a "Day".

From the Biblical study I have done so far it seems that from the time of the 2nd coming to the last day of choice will be 1000 years.   Just as the Jews, and those following false teachings and laws now, have already had 2000 years, so far, to accept Christ, after the 2nd coming there will be another 1000 years for those left behind to make their choice to enter Heaven and ever lasting life or death.  Meaning that after the 1000 years if you haven't chosen everlasting life, once you die then you will truly be dead including your spirit/soul.

Btw.  Hell is never mentioned in the Bible, the word "Sheol" which Catholics have translated as "Hell" actually translates to "Grave" - So one chooses either life everlasting by accepting Christ/God or death by denying Him.

I know how much you study the Bible but for me it's just a no go zone lol.
