Martha, I feel sad that you get arthritis in your ribs too. I'm glad to know that I'm not as crazy as people think though! Most people say they've never heard of arthritis in ribs before and then talk to me like I'm a real nut-job. I get it in my clavicle too, fiercely.
Whisper, I've read or heard somewhere that arthritis happens most easily where there are bone uptakes from having been broken before. I can totally relate to the painful breathing, coughing &sneezing.
The rain has begun again. Apparently, we will be soggy through to next week, maybe longer.

You're definitely not crazy. Well not about that at least. lol I have arthritis in my clavicle too and my shoulder as well as my knee. All are old injury sites. That pain is mostly more like rats endlessly gnawing at the joints than the same as my ribs although my knee gets the occasional sharp stab and gives out from under me. Usually when I 'm carrying a hot coffee or something upstairs of course.

The rain has gone. Yay! A chilly frosty morning but sunny. I'll take it. So far I've emptied the bins and put the wheely out, washed dishes, changed and washed the bedding and ironed a few bits and bobs. A coffee has been earned before I move again. The cat having "helped" me put the clean bedding on is now extending her services to typing. She's a menace. lol

Hey morning all, I've slept about 11 hours last night. Had my usual breakfast with my morning pills, had set off for a rose latte at Starbucks, then a latte at Nitro Cafe, had gone shopping to Pandora, but hadn't found anything to my taste, the now just home chilling with a movie, a juicy and fresh clementine and will be having lunch soon. Hope you have a great Thursday!

Good afternoon everyone
Sandy, I hope things are ok with you.
The rain continues here. Yesterday we had lots of wind and a full-on downpour. Today is much milder.
There are some signs of Spring in the neighbourhood. Cherry trees and magnolia trees are popping like mad. A few other flowering bushes are adding some colour too but the days still feel very dreary. Looking forward to some full days of sunshine!
I think I'll get some laundry done.
Have a lovely evening everyone♥️

A very dull day today but they've promised us sunshine soon. At least it's a lot milder now so Spring is definitely on its way.

Nothing major on my agenda today. Recycling is out and some laundry is in the machine. Running some routine scans on my computer but hoping for a slow and quiet day generally.

Hey morning everyone, I've slept about 11 hours last night, had a raisin pastry for my breakfast with milk and my morning pills, then had set out for a Mocha frappe. I've treated myself to a dollar plantain crisp, nicely crisp, fresh and low fat and calories. The while just home, made myself up, chilling with a movie and some Chinese oolong tea. Have a great one today everybody!

Wendy I find that with Arthritis, we become experts in weather forecasting!
Change of season/weather always is a painful occurrence for me.

Just managed to get a call through to mum ... long story lol ... she got her special phone connected in the care home but had forgotten which buttons to press to answer it with the speaker getting turned on!

LOL Martha! When I got my Galaxy Note someone phoned me and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to answer before they gave up! I was used to using a dumb phone :D

Well night everyone, I've lunched on a Vietnamese sandwich and orange juice, had gone out shopping again, finding things uglier than the other, had a small caramel  Macchiato at Starbucks, just came home and had taken a shower. For the moment just chilling with a movie and my usual forums.

lol Same here Elaine. When I first got a Galaxy I kept pressing the green button and it took me forever to work out you have to swipe it. Silly smart phones! Even now Martha I get my landline phone on speaker unintentionally sometimes and can't get it off again. Lovely that you managed to get to talk to your mum in the end. Smile

Nothing much happening here. Same old routine. Last week was pretty quiet which was rather nice. Back to housework this morning and then lunch with my sis at our friend's place.

Anyways, morning everyone, I've slept about 10,5 hours last night. Had my usual jam on toasts with milk and morning pills for breakfast, had gone off for a little window-shopping and an iced french vanilla latte. Just lunched on leftovers from a few days ago and will be heading out again for the afternoon.

I will join you both Elaine and Wendy as I've got a "new" phone and this one is an Android. It's Jeremy's old phone and it's huge in comparison to the iPhone 5s.

Still trying to figure out how to work the darn thing but at least now I can see who's calling me without having to search for my glasses first. It's the Huwai Nexus 6p ... it's massive lol.

Good luck with it Martha. I hardly use mine and only bothered figuring out how to use the few things I want regularly. I ignore all the bells and whistles it has. You could set up different ringtones for people who ring you a lot. Of course then you'd have to remember which were which. lol

Finally the sun is shining and it looks like Spring has arrived. I've got bedding drying outdoors. Yay!

Good afternoon all, I've slept roughly 10 hours yesterday night. Had my usual breakfast with my morning pills, had gone out for an iced cinnamon coffee at Starbucks, a plantain crisp, a black cherry coke, had shopped around a little, have found nothing I had wanted, just came home, had lunch on leftovers from 2-3 days ago, had taken a shower and am about to enjoy Hana Yori Dango, a Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese drama, all 3 versions with some oolong tea, have a great Thursday everyone!
