Hi everyone.

Well, I stopped taking the high blood pressure meds
and the swelling went down on my foot.

I have borderline high blood pressure.
It has been low most all my life.

I know my recent issue has been high sodium in my diet.
I love my homemade soups.
Even with using the low sodium broth,
I must admit it tastes salty. And tasty.
(Kerri slaps her own hand as she reaches for the soup spoon!)

So, I'm skipping the homemade soups for now
and going low sodium.

Sunny and warm here, but with low humidity.
I cut some hot peppers off the pepper plants today.
I was going to use them in homemade soup. Sad

I think I will put them in an omelette instead.

I can't complain about anything.
Life is good and I am happy.
Sending out hugs to everyone and wishing a lovely day.

Oh that's just sad. I have to admit I'm a salt addict. I don't like sweet things at all but salt will be my downfall probably. My blood pressure is fine for now but how long it will remain that way is anyone's guess. I'm terrible. I can't eat anything not plastered in salt.

We've had a week of rain and cool temps here and it's not looking like improving. Some of the rain has been torrential. Very odd weather for August. I think we're being paid back for actually having a bit of summer in July.

Weather is fairly warm here , but the humidity is very high, not to anyones liking .

I cook mostly without salt , add some if wanted later .

Hello Kerri, and  Whisper  and Sandy , and missing Elaine of course .

Hi everyone.

Wendy,
I hope the rain slows down there.
I think I am a salt addict, too. Smile

Geru,
Hope the humidity there ends soon.
Autumn should be on its way now.

I went with my daughters and granddaughters
and grandson to The Bell Museum today.
It's a natural history museum and planetarium
through the University of Minnesota.
Even the baby seemed very interested
and had his curious face on.

My granddaughter, Isabella,
petted a live snake.
We had a fun time.

Hope everyone has a peaceful rest of the day.

Sounds like a wonderful place for kids. Educational and fun at the same time.

The rain has finally stopped. Probably not for long but it's great to see that yellow ball in the sky. A brief respite from the downpours. Lighter showers forecast for later and still only a max of 63F but a big improvement on recent weather.

I'm hoping for a lazy Sunday. A few small chores to do but then I'm going to relax before a busy few days coming up. I need to get my sister to trim my hair for me tomorrow so I can see where I'm going. Visitors next weekend so I'm enjoying the peace and quiet this one.

Good morning all Smile woke up at 4am and have almost finished catching up online. Then the dreaded windows update is due.

Gheez Wendy that was not nice having to spend your saved money on the roof fixing instead! Damn can't win can we?

Kerri your grand kids must feel so lucky to have you Smile

Hope the humidity has come down for you Geru.
